Burgers! Back to the basics.

Joe waxes on the beginning of the burger. Burgers with gold flake?

Joe and Charpie argue the finer points of the “perfect” burger and accompanying ingredients.

There seems to be some dispute on the proper way to season a burger.

Joe gets grossed out by mayo eaters.

Quick tips

Joe – Shut the lid when grilling your burgers! This will help reduce flare-ups. Also, don’t overcrowd the grate. Do your burgers in batches if you have to.

Charpie – When seasoning ground beef, don’t add your salt until after you’ve formed your patties. Salt mixed in with the ground beef will create a less tender burger.
