Grilled Yams

Ingredients:

  • 6 medium yams
  • olive oil
  • salt & pepper

Directions:

  1. Slice up the yams into 1/2″ rounds and place in a pot of water.
  2. Bring to a boil and cook for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Strain the yams and transfer to a separate pot of cool water. Let stand for 6-10 minutes.
  4. Remove yams from cool water and lightly coat with olive oil.
  5. Transfer directly to your grill grate over medium-high heat.
  6. Cook until tender a few minutes on each side.
  7. Immediately salt and pepper the yam chips upon removing them from the grill.
