- 6 medium yams
- olive oil
- salt & pepper
- Slice up the yams into 1/2″ rounds and place in a pot of water.
- Bring to a boil and cook for 3-5 minutes.
- Strain the yams and transfer to a separate pot of cool water. Let stand for 6-10 minutes.
- Remove yams from cool water and lightly coat with olive oil.
- Transfer directly to your grill grate over medium-high heat.
- Cook until tender a few minutes on each side.
- Immediately salt and pepper the yam chips upon removing them from the grill.
