Shannon’s Tri-Tip Marinade

  • 1/2 c. dry red wine
  • 1/2 c. teriyaki sauce
  • 1/3 c. olive oil
  • 1 T. paprika
  • 1/3 c. red wine vinegar
  • 4 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 1 T. dried onion flakes

Combine all ingredients, mix well and marinate tri-tip in a closed container or bag overnight in your refrigerator.

Grill tri-tip to desired doneness. For medium rare, flip after about 10 minutes and cook for another 5-10 minutes depending on the size of your tri-tip.

I like tri-tip better than prime rib. It’s one of my favorites too!
