Grilling for a Crowd: Tip 1

We are in the season of tailgaiting. And it’s a grilling season where your mise en place is at it’s utmost importance. If you’re unfamiliar with the term “mise en place,” it basically means having everything in place. There’s no better time than tailgating to have your stuff in order and be organized so that you’re not fumbling around the grill when you should be concentrating on enjoying fall weather, good friends and good food.

Grilled Spinach and Artichoke Dip

In the time that this post is being written we’re smack dab in the middle of a beautiful fall season. One of my favorite things about fall is the food that’s in season (I guess that’s my favorite thing about any season). Although this simple appetizer can be delicious any time of the year with canned artichoke hearts and frozen spinach, I often think about making it in the fall with both ingredients being in season.
